Charades is a "parlor" game that has been around for some time. Basically, one person draws a card and pantomimes the phrase while the other players try to guess it. The two main rules are that the actor cannot speak or mouth words.

There are a few conventions that help the actor and other players communicate basics about the phrase. To start the pantomime, the actor counts the number of words in the phrase and the holds up that number of fingers to tell the guessers how many total words there are. Next, if there are two syllables in the word the actors is going to pantomime, she indicates that by holding two fingers (palm down) on her other forearm. Placing your index finger on your nose and pointing with the other arm to the correct guesser indicates that that person has correctly guessed the number or the word.

The WOW! Charades Game consists of 40 phrases that are all "Things Women (or Girls) Do." You can either print it out on Avery 8371 business card sheets (or the equivalent), or simply print them on 8.5 x 11.0" paper and cut them apart.
